In our Primary School, learners follow a Cambridge-aligned curriculum within a nurturing and engaging environment that encourages both academic excellence and personal growth.
We combine the strengths of an internationally recognised curriculum with hands-on learning experiences that help children develop a deep understanding of concepts rather than simply memorising information. Montessori materials and practical activities continue to be used where appropriate to make learning meaningful, concrete and engaging.
The Cambridge curriculum is highly regarded for its focus on developing critical thinking, creativity, inquiry and problem-solving skills. Learners are encouraged to ask questions, explore different perspectives, analyse information and apply their knowledge to real-world situations. Rather than learning what to think, children learn how to think.
We place a strong emphasis on curiosity, independence and a lifelong love of learning. Through rich and varied learning experiences, children develop confidence in their abilities while building the academic foundations needed for future success.
Our learners explore a wide range of subjects and themes, including science, mathematics, literature, history, geography, art, music, technology and the natural world. Learning is designed to inspire wonder, encourage discovery and help children make meaningful connections across different areas of knowledge.
Practical life skills remain an important part of the Fowler House experience. Through activities such as cooking, gardening, caring for plants and animals, woodworking, sewing and other hands-on projects, children develop responsibility, resilience, independence and confidence.
Our goal is to nurture thoughtful, capable and compassionate young people who are prepared not only for the academic challenges of High School, but for life beyond the classroom.
